With a lifetime of experience in the creative kitchen – we’ve both been classically trained in the art of fine Kiwi advertising.
While I shucked briefs at Y&R Auckland, Aaron scaled ideas at Colenso BBDO and Us&Co. We finally crossed knives at DDB Aotearoa five years back and established a solid creative pairing. Once we discovered our mutual taste for travel, we flew to the UK.
After freelancing the London circuit, we took roles as Senior Creative Cooks at Ogilvy UK. There we helped Samsung create a full degustation for their global B2B platform. We worked remotely with Vodafone on a menu that featured an iPhone launch, small business podcast, and a tribute to kids for keeping us sane over lockdown. Using weekly emails we also built a buffet for F1 fans to devour. Our “episodes” gained over 40 million interactions, doubled fan value, and helped turn F1 into one of the most awarded client at Ogilvy UK.
Lastly, we had the chance to help a few interns develop their own creative palettes, and find their place at the agency. Now we’re back home and looking to move up chef’s line. If your creative kitchen’s in need of some fresh produce, get in touch.
